A pre-recorded Easter Sunday service, led by Rt Rev Julian Henderson, Bishop of Blackburn, with Rt Rev Philip North, Bishop of Burnley and Rt Rev Dr Jill Duff, Bishop of Lancaster, is available now on the Diocesan YouTube channel.
It was recorded via Zoom. You can watch the service here.
Via the Diocesan YouTube Channel Bishop Julian can also be seen leading a Maundy Thursday Service and Meditation for Good Friday (both now available) and you can also view the Bishops' Easter messages now on the same channel.
All the services have been recorded in advance and will remain on the channel permanently after their initial uploading.
In addition, and before the lockdown, Bishop Philip also made three recordings at St Laurence Church in Chorley: Maundy Thursday Eucharist of the Lord’s Supper; Good Friday Liturgy of the Day (with reading of St John’s Passion) and an Easter Morning Eucharist with Renewal of Baptismal Promises. These will be available on the St Laurence YouTube channel..
