Human Resources (HR)

The Diocesan HR Team works closely with parish employers and BDBE/F line managers to provide guidance on development, employee relations, management and recruitment.

Meet the Team

Ellie Simpkin - HR Officer

The HR Officer is the first line of contact for general HR enquiries and provides support for employees of the Boards of Finance and Education.

Abbie Race - HR Adviser

The HR Adviser is the key person for ensuring that the HR elements of the SMMI funded programme are implemented and the primary contact for parishes.

Andrew Cooke - HR Manager  

As well as overseeing all HR matters relating to the Boards of Finance and Education, the HR Manager is the designated Officer for Common Tenure and provides primary advice for clergy.
