Many churches in the diocese rely on the regular income from their telecommunications installations. In 2018, the government introduced new measures that made it easier for telecoms companies to renegotiate rental rates at a much lower level, once leases expire. In order to help churches during this difficult period of renegotiation, a new framework contract was set up with NET Coverage Solutions by Parish Buying to help parishes that are approached with a view to their buildings being used for mobile communication infrastructure or for renegotiating exsiting contracts.
