The artist, Albert Ogden’s paintings will be exhibited in Blackburn Cathedral’s Crypt from September 8-30 between 10.30am to 2.30pm.
Albert, now in his late 80s, an artist all his life, was Head of Art at Keswick College of Education in Norwich.
His work has been exhibited in Salzburg, Minneapolis and Norwich, and his paintings are inspired by the human figure and by landscape.
He lives in Wray with his wife Mary, where he has his studio. He was a chorister at Blackburn Cathedral from 1935 and is giving 10% of the sale of his works to support Cathedral music.
