Lancashire and South Cumbria Integrated Care Board (ICB) has reached out to key partners across their area - including the Diocese - for feedback as they seek to develop a male suicide prevention campaign.
Diocesan Safeguarding Adviser, Catherine Smith, encourages parishes to participate. She said today: ""We get a significant number of concerns about mental health shared with us by parishes, so parish involvement in this survey is really important.
"Individuals (particularly males 40-54) are also being encouraged to take part - this could include people who have been affected by this issue directly in some way. It would be great to ensure there is a faith perspective in the overall feedback for this important initiative."
The ICB campaign will seek to influence how men access support and advice when they need it. In the survey you will be able to view and give your opinion on the draft concepts and posters, and answer questions about what you feel would encourage men to seek support.
