Clergy Family Fun Day
The Bishop of Burnley, Rt Rev Philip North, is hosting a Clergy Family Fun Day on Saturday 21 July from 11am to 4pm at his home, Dean House, 449 Padiham Road, Burnley BB12 6TE.
Bishop Philip said today: "There will be lots going on for clergy families with children from 0-16 from across Lancashire
"The day will feature arts and crafts, bouncy castles, a Christian magician, a big barbecue, beat the goalie, ice cream, face painting, balloon modelling and even an escape room restricted for the use of teenagers!
"There will also be plenty to eat and drink as well as spaces simply to relax and chat. It's a chance to make a small gesture of thanks to our clergy families for the many sacrifices they make to support the ministry of the Church."
Any clergy families wanting to attend should contact Bishop Philip's secretary Louise Hunter with how many will be attending from their family for planning and catering purposes.
