This weekend we have another video event (on Saturday); this one is from our Mothers' Union, celebrating their founder, Mary Sumner.
A Mary Sumner Day Service usually takes place in the Diocese around this time, but it has been cancelled this year due to the virus and because many of the members are elderly.
Instead, there will be a virtual service on our YouTube channel (click the embedded video link above or access the channel here).
It premieres at 2pm on August 8 ... which was the scheduled time for the original service.
MU members who have more experience online are encouraged to support fellow members, who may not be as confident online, to access the service.
