We mark the 75th anniversary of the Windrush Generation today and remember and give thanks for the contribution made in years since.
Today we rightly celebrate the contribution of Commonwealth citizens to the country and to the Church on the 75th anniversary of the recognised start of the ‘Windrush Generation’. We give thanks for the diversity of gifts, cultures and people that this has brought to the nation and to the Church of England, and pray that we will continue to grow to reflect the kingdom of God within which all are able to flourish.
