A message from Bishop Julian ...
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
In recent years we have had Clergy Study Mornings which have been well received and supported by clergy across the diocese. As we build on that legacy, I am inviting you to come and meet with fellow clergy and the Bishop’s Leadership Team at one of the 2022 clergy study ‘mornings’ where we will be considering ‘Inspiring Children and Young People'.
Please feel free to come either to the event that is nearest, or on the most convenient date for you.
Each event will start at 9.30am, with refreshments available from 9am, and will provide opportunity to reflect together on how we seek to inspire and how we are inspired by children and young people within our worshipping communities. The mornings will conclude with the celebration of the Eucharist, followed by a good lunch together at 1pm.
These are the dates and venues and the links to the Eventbrite on-line booking system. If you need help in booking, please contact Helen Morris, PA to the Director of Education helen.morris@blackburn.anglican.org or 01254 503404.
The ongoing engagement of the clergy with Vision 2026 is very important to the life of the diocese and I pray that you will make attendance at one of these events a priority in your diary. I am asking for you to book your place as soon as possible and if there are compelling reasons why you feel unable to attend one of the dates then please send your apologies to me.
The programme will be as follows including generous time for group work and coffee.
With gratitude to God for you and your ministry
Bishop Julian
