Monday 15 August, starting at 2pm through to Thursday 18 August, finishing at 2pm

A retreat at Whalley Abbey led by Mark and Gill Ireland.

Mark and Gill love walking in God’s creation, and Mark is Archdeacon of Blackburn.

Aim of the Retreat: an opportunity to spend time in God’s beautiful creation that will inspire us in our prayer.

What is on offer: a stunning location – the Abbey is a great place to stay, an Elizabethan manor house built out of the old Abbot’s lodgings, but with ensuite rooms, comfy beds and great food.

Walks in the surrounding countryside: Gill and Mark will lead walks from the Abbey each day, with options for those who prefer longer and shorter distances. If you want to do your own thing a folder of alternative walks in the local area is available in the lounge, along with some local guidebooks.

This Residential Retreat will be full-board at a cost of £270 per person.

Tickets are available to book through Eventbrite here.
