Although led by a Manchester Diocese church, this event will be of interest to people across East Lancashire.
The Rossendale Jobs Fair returns for the sixth year running on Thursday 4 April, offering amazing opportunities to connect people looking for a new job, a change in career or a local apprenticeship with local employers.
Organised by the MP for Rossendale and Darwen, Jake Berry, The Revd David Brae from Christ Church, Bacup, and in partnership with the Rawtenstall Jobs Centre, the Jobs Fair, at the Methodist Church in Bacup, attracts about 350 people every year.
The fair is attended by nearly 40 local businesses, and offers workshops centred around CV and interview preparation, digital online help and self-employment.
Scores of local employers and colleges will have a stand at the event, knowing that it’s a great place to snap up local talent. They include the RAF, Capita, Rossendale Borough Council, B&E Boys, Cruise Academy, Calico Homes, Burnley FC, and GS Social Care.
