The year 2026 is our centenary year as a Diocese.
It is a chance to give thanks for all that God has done through his people in the Diocese of Blackburn since William Temple founded it in 1926.
It's also an opportunity to commit ourselves anew to mission and ministry in the service of Jesus Christ across Lancashire.
To help us in our praise and worship this year, at our Centenary Diocesan Conference we premiered our new Centenary Hymn 'All for Jesus' - the title being the same as our theme for the year.
This page features a video version of the song and all the resources you need to sing and play it in your own parish or school.Â
We have a video for the hymn as well as an audio version you can download; all alongside chord sheets and other music resources. Video embed and links all below.
Enjoy playing and singing 'All for Jesus' and share the video on your social channels.Â
The hymn 'All for Jesus' was written by Gareth Davies-Jones, a singer, songwriter, story-teller and producer; pictured here during our conference.Â
He's been writing, recording and performing as a professional musician for over 20 years.
Gareth's performances are known for gathering people together, inviting audiences to travel with him into a world of landscapes, history and characters all underpinned with assured vocals and a vibrant array of beautifully played stringed instruments.Â
You can watch and play the video from YouTube. It's also embedded on this page below.
