We warmly welcome anyone who would like to sing a selection of well-loved choral classics to join us on Saturday 10 May at St Mark's, Layton. Works include: Handel's 'Zadok the Priest'; Parry's 'I Was Glad'; 'The Heav'ns are Telling' (from 'The Creation' by Haydn); Howard Goodall's version of 'The Lord is my Shepherd' (Vicar of Dibley theme) 'Jerusalem' and many others.

There is a rehearsal at 2pm followed by a light meal before a concert at 7pm. The day is in the same spirit as last year's 'Come and Sing the Messiah' and the £5 cost includes all the music. Anyone not wishing to sing is, of course, very welcome to attend the evening concert (£5 and free for 16 and under).
