Thursday 12 November
Clergy Study Day on Ethics and Leadership
After our wonderful Diocesan Study Days earlier this year, we hope that you’ll have come away encouraged and wanting to learn more.
In partnership with Emmanuel Theological College we’re now able to let you know about some exciting new voluntary study days for all clergy you’re welcome to book on to.
The poster nearby tells you about both of them.
CME Session - Ethics and Leadership, by The Rev Claire Cooke
Format – Online
When – 12 November
Time - 10am to 1pm.
Claire Cooke writes: I have been involved in missions in the UK in a variety of ways for over 25 years. I trained for ordination in a mixed mode setting, and I am thrilled to continue to embrace that pattern of simultaneously taking time to reflect theologically alongside serving in the church and the community.
In addition to my role as tutor in theology at ETC I am also leading a group into planting small church congregations for those who wouldn’t otherwise know Jesus or be part of a church family. The fact I get to do this with my husband and two teenage daughters is a real thrill. Watching them explore their own faith, putting it into words and actions, is wonderful.
