Our Diocese's 'South Asian Christian Convention' is due to take place again on Sunday after a successful first two years.
At the last event, which took place at Blackburn Cathedral, Archdeacon Mark said: “I have already expressed the hope that another convention will take place, as I believe it has the potential to grow and become a really important part of the life and witness of our diocese.”
That hope is now a reality and on Sunday July 14 at 4pm the third Convention will be held, focusing on the a key aspect of the Diocesan Vision 2026: making disciples of Jesus Christ.
Bishop Julian will be the main speaker this year, and the service – to which all in the Diocese are welcome - will be bilingual (Urdu and English).
The venue is St John's Church Centre, Barkerhouse Road, Nelson, BB9 9EY.
