Our annual Diocesan youth event 'ABIDE: FEARLESS' takes place on Saturday, March 25 at St Michael’s CE High School in Chorley from 2-9pm (doors open 1.30pm).
Abide is our annual youth event for 11-17 year-olds where we will be exploring life, world issues and our faith together, writes Ben Green, Diocesan Youth Adviser.
Whether they attend church every Sunday or are dropping in at your youth club we aim to encourage all young people in their journey of faith.
The day is topped and tailed with gathered worship times seeking to engage young people in exploring their faith in Jesus further; with a Eucharist to end the day led by Bishop Philip. There will be workshops and activity spaces, big group games and evening meal in between; all adding up to a day full of fun and laughter with old friends and new!
Bookings are now open! And you can find out loads more information, download promotional materials, as well as how to book your young people by visiting this page.
Also, why not get your young people to follow us on @thisisabide on Instagram?
Following the success of these last year we will be hosting two ‘Leaders Launch’ zooms on Tuesday, January 31, at 2pm and 7:30pm.
These times are opportunities for group leaders to jump on zoom for 30-45 minutes to hear the vision for Abide; the structure and content of the day; how to book your groups for the event and to ask any questions you have about anything Abide related!
To get the details for accessing the Zoom events and if there is anything you would like to know before this, or you are unable to attend one of the Leaders Launches please do not hesitate to contact Ben Green on ben.green@blackburn.anglican.org
