As part of our ongoing work towards Vision 2026, Healthy Churches Transforming Communities, Blackpool Deanery, part of The Church of England in Lancashire, is partnering once again with The Message Trust for a week of fantastic mission events.
The week started with a commissioning service with Rt Rev. Philip North, Bishop of Blackburn, on Sunday evening at Blackpool Church, St John’s.
There are six secondary schools involved in the 'No More Knives' tour plus a concert at the paradise lounge on the pleasure beach at 7pm on Friday evening.

The Deanery has 'the Message Bus' going to five locations during the week across the town.
Alongside this the Blackpool Deanery has churches getting out on the streets to do local social action projects and outreach events.
On Saturday from 1-4pm they are holding a celebration event ‘Praise in the Park’ on Kingscote Park to celebrate all that God has done during the week. All welcome.
