The first Ordinations in our Diocese of female candidates to the priesthood took place in Lancaster Priory and at Blackpool St John's in 1994.
This Sunday we celebrate the 30th anniversary of that day.
There will be a Celebration of the Eucharist at 4pm on Sunday 12 May, to which all are very warmly welcome.
The celebrant will be the Rev Canon Brenda Harding who was one of the first cohort of women to be ordained to the priesthood.
Following the Eucharist there will be refreshments and a chance to enjoy each other’s company.
