Man Alive returns for 2025 at the Cathedral

Now in its third year, ‘Man Alive’ at Blackburn Cathedral is an event purposely designed to celebrate and encourage men in their walk of faith and exploring faith and how it relates to daily life.

Taking place at Blackburn Cathedral on Thursday, 5 June it is for men from across the Diocese.

The evening will be co-hosted by the Very Rev Peter Howell-Jones, Dean of Blackburn and Bishop Tony Porter who will preach.

There will be opportunity to find out more about developing work with men in your local church and community and along with live music at this fun, relaxed and inspiring event.

Mark Mitchell will be joining us for a conversation about men and faith in the workplace. He is founder and MD of the Mitchell Group, Cheshire Oaks.

Driven by a passionate Christian faith, Mark has always been counter-cultural in terms of business leadership, having had to face some serious consequences when he decided not to conduct business on Sundays.

Despite the circumstances, he and his business stood their ground and God came through for them in a miraculous way.

What next? Get talking about it in person in your church and on social media and invite men to attend with you.

There is no charge to attend but please register for free tickets via the links below:
