Whether you’re happy ‘cos Burnley FC are back in the Premier League, or England drew the Ashes, or the success of the Women’s World Cup, whatever you think, Sport offers something for everyone!

Join us for our activities this weekend as we celebrate Sport – something for everyone!

Join us on Sunday for our All-Age worship with Holy Communion as we celebrate our God in Jesus Christ- His love is for everyone

• Friday 8: 6.30pm start - all welcome at our super sports quiz night. Pay £5 on the door to enter. Teams of 4-8 welcome. Supper provided.  A great way to kick start our special weekend. We welcome a team from ‘Christians in Sport’ to host our evening. Professional footballer, Oscar Threlkeld will join us and share how his faith keeps him grounded.
• Saturday 9: 10.30am start - there’s something for everyone at our ‘Sports day’. Football skills coaching in the morning, 10.30-12noon, on The Refectory Car Park, a sports circuit for all the family round the church yard, lots of sporting challenges in the afternoon for you to try, stalls, raffle and prizes, plus food!
• Professional footballer, Oscar Threlkeld visits at 1.30pm for ‘Ask the Pro’ – come and find out what it takes to be a professional. Oscar was at Bolton Wanderers from the age of 6yrs, coming up through the Youth Academy and turned professional at 17yrs. He has played for many teams, including Waasland Beveren, Belgium.
• Sunday 10: 11am - come and celebrate and give thanks for all our blessings at our All-Age worship service with Holy Communion. Invite someone to come with you. Prizes will be given out in the service for all the winners from Saturday, plus the draws will be done.
